Training Materials
Produce a complete AI training package for legal-education audiences — and pitch a cross-Penn version with collaborators.
Training Materials produces a complete AI training package for legal-education audiences — modules, exercises, microsites, and the accompanying media — and pitches a cross-Penn version of the same package in collaboration with Bhuvnesh Jain.
The reference output is the Legal Education at Model Velocity microsite: four modules, a cloned-voice podcast, a NotebookLM audio overview, and a stack of PDF summaries. This project’s job is to keep producing work in that mold and to widen its audience.
What we’re doing
- Ship new training packages on a regular cadence — each one a self-contained module set with companion audio, PDFs, and a public microsite.
- Develop the cross-Penn proposal with Bhuvnesh Jain: a training program that serves Penn audiences beyond the law school, building on the same content engine.
- Use the Course-Website Tooling layer to keep production cost low — each new package should reuse the templating, not rebuild from scratch.
Why this matters
Faculty, students, staff, and judges all need training that engages with how AI actually works in legal contexts — not generic AI literacy. The Lab is one of the few places set up to produce that material at the level of detail it needs, and shipping it as polished, public-facing work is what lets it reach people who aren’t in the room when we run a session.
Status
Active. The Legal Education microsite is shipped; next packages are in scoping. Cross-Penn proposal with Bhuvnesh Jain is in early conversation.
