Legal Education at Model Velocity is a shipped artifact — a four-module microsite on what AI’s pace of change means for legal education, paired with a cloned-voice podcast, a 45-minute NotebookLM audio overview, and 14 PDF summaries that distill the modules into briefing-document form.

It went live April 19, 2026.

What it is

  • Microsite. Four modules covering the velocity question, the curriculum implications, the assessment implications, and the institutional response. Live at polkwagner.com/legal-education.
  • Cloned-voice podcast. Each module has a companion podcast episode produced via ElevenLabs in a cloned version of Polk’s voice — the audio version of the same content for listeners who’d rather hear it.
  • NotebookLM audio overview. A 45-minute conversational audio summary of the full microsite, generated through Google’s NotebookLM, that walks a listener through the argument end-to-end.
  • PDF summaries. 14 single-topic briefing documents — one to two pages each — distilling specific points from the modules for faculty who want a citable handout.

Why it matters

The artifact is the proof that a single faculty member, with the right tooling, can ship a polished, multi-format teaching resource in weeks rather than years. It’s also the reference output that the Course-Website Tooling project is generalizing — the next training package the Lab ships should look like this one, but cost a fraction as much to produce.
